I grew up with the movie and love it, and I guess forced my friends to see at least parts of it in high school, so it became a running joke among us. <br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkmh4S2nIMua-GKGV-9y4Kap0be5mzANA5Z1kBVixhZWBLYmHW52NlvI46jzsi4HBXGkpSkCD4eDG3ROQq6OqNOZk6bXGFh0m-Oc7DSoXlIMU0TlKcTl9KlXsMVsvwe554FEg_EpBSTCc/s1600/061.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkmh4S2nIMua-GKGV-9y4Kap0be5mzANA5Z1kBVixhZWBLYmHW52NlvI46jzsi4HBXGkpSkCD4eDG3ROQq6OqNOZk6bXGFh0m-Oc7DSoXlIMU0TlKcTl9KlXsMVsvwe554FEg_EpBSTCc/s320/061.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5503835318033424354" /></a><br />We made the hour or so drive up to Garden Valley with the help of Maria's Norwegian-speaking GPS and found a huge sign with the theater's name. We saw the will call booth right off and picked up our tickets and since the GPS showed the theater still a short distance away, we climbed back into the car and took off, pleased with ourselves for arriving early...only to discover that there was soon no sign of civilization (although there was a sign for "neat stuff"). We eventually turned around despite being yelled at in Norwegian by the GPS (and just for the record, there is nothing more creepy than a robotic woman's voice commanding you to turn around in Norwegian) and ended up right at the ticket booth. Then we saw the cars parked about 50 feet down and a theater. We ended up being 20 minutes late. Woops. Fortunately, we usually find ourselves far more entertaining than anything else around us, so we don't feel we missed out on anything. We did have to get a picture of some of the cast because the lead male, "Jimmy" was outside when we finally made it to the theater and made a snide comment and we couldn't be certain that the lead female "Millie" didn't have at least one fake leg the way she was dancing. We discovered she had both limbs intact, but must have been wearing cement shoes for the final disastrous leap (or full body upheaval) into Jimmy's arms. We did get some classic pictures of, well, ourselves. And we laughed like crazy ladies, so I consider it a successful outing. <br /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://picasaweb.google.com/s/c/bin/slideshow.swf" width="288" height="192" flashvars="host=picasaweb.google.com&hl=en_US&feat=flashalbum&RGB=0x000000&feed=http%3A%2F%2Fpicasaweb.google.com%2Fdata%2Ffeed%2Fapi%2Fuser%2Fnojumpers%2Falbumid%2F5503834266683605089%3Falt%3Drss%26kind%3Dphoto%26hl%3Den_US" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"></embed>Dittman Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07432293791122514837noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6282303693453507036.post-58788763012539750472010-08-06T10:08:00.001-07:002010-08-06T11:17:44.188-07:00Summer 2010: Yep, another Mega-Post<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUSlAZqxMU3npdfbUTtr8FPcHKcorVeIDgwZxOIuMQ79ib9f8eN-SzjR42aNsbbZDE61zA5TAAJyPlxZslrya7tKR-eE3XKVxCDYU3sLe9_-7kfP2XFPS7WN8uIEhsZJWPsULmJIPiUeo/s1600/038.JPG"><img style="float: right; margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUSlAZqxMU3npdfbUTtr8FPcHKcorVeIDgwZxOIuMQ79ib9f8eN-SzjR42aNsbbZDE61zA5TAAJyPlxZslrya7tKR-eE3XKVxCDYU3sLe9_-7kfP2XFPS7WN8uIEhsZJWPsULmJIPiUeo/s320/038.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5502347385885113442" border="0"></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3KOkT6KwxCbSbuCifdSD2iamxiLbUVUURgxZQtptmdM2fAEx7rPwzuADY1zbVz5FpvqMgEhyaQwGcJkejqPRTOte4_sNxQcz-EGQ9ObB9X_ky65r9TD2Iu-yP3Dn8yMghdkzouKG3eU8/s1600/036.JPG"><img style="float: right; margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3KOkT6KwxCbSbuCifdSD2iamxiLbUVUURgxZQtptmdM2fAEx7rPwzuADY1zbVz5FpvqMgEhyaQwGcJkejqPRTOte4_sNxQcz-EGQ9ObB9X_ky65r9TD2Iu-yP3Dn8yMghdkzouKG3eU8/s320/036.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5502347192951238354" border="0"></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6ig-ir4uy_33LhfpCK9IAyYjhXfjIAgfpk1gTAS_65eF3WSOnFnnhmu9uH8xjzW687FElZn96nQRTg2QlRBvujKbbAZZbpUwKXr8X5wjo4PfvnxJoX_3gD0B4T_phIlKfiKSgRTX2g_w/s1600/035.JPG"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6ig-ir4uy_33LhfpCK9IAyYjhXfjIAgfpk1gTAS_65eF3WSOnFnnhmu9uH8xjzW687FElZn96nQRTg2QlRBvujKbbAZZbpUwKXr8X5wjo4PfvnxJoX_3gD0B4T_phIlKfiKSgRTX2g_w/s320/035.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5502346926184265282" border="0"></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIlTJp1mpul1G3xNuiZjU6N9KkhAFiFjst8lAWwUiLC4AXm0Bu6mCMaKGw2BZTCAYENXctCD-_n10Ruia4S5_QhQrxchw5tGZ00r5NCdCv_cvgH1pFMG4JwlIFbvtTqvICtE06TZtN-fA/s1600/034.JPG"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIlTJp1mpul1G3xNuiZjU6N9KkhAFiFjst8lAWwUiLC4AXm0Bu6mCMaKGw2BZTCAYENXctCD-_n10Ruia4S5_QhQrxchw5tGZ00r5NCdCv_cvgH1pFMG4JwlIFbvtTqvICtE06TZtN-fA/s320/034.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5502346701944509586" border="0"></a><br />All right, summer is coming to an end (already!) and I haven't posted one darn thing. We told her we would talk about it when she was at least 8. She held us to that, wanting to get it done for her birthday. Unfortunately, she was in soccer then and couldn't wear earrings for games so she had to wait a little longer. Quinn didn't want her to get her ears pierced because it was an acknowledgement that she's growing up, so he tried to tell her a variety of reason why she couldn't do it: the store exploded, all stores are out of earrings, and so on. She didn't buy it, and although she was nervous, Alli was tough. She didn't flinch, and even said after that it hurt so bad she wanted to cry, but didn't want to cry out at the store! She is so happy to have her ears pierced, and for the first few days she would stop and admire her ears on just about anything that would reflect her image!<br /><br /><br />Before...<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNeoeVgoplvQl3KgtxOh9BzMQ-704J2IpJR7nKcxUFzWsQf_G5VJ0Bn6gmaGrs5V9Uk04-FFSPAqu-KDhzxukp98plgxlJxAb2Zq44meAwkwijrEyxHRUhsd1-4NqJy84yGlP3pPgfkOY/s1600/015.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNeoeVgoplvQl3KgtxOh9BzMQ-704J2IpJR7nKcxUFzWsQf_G5VJ0Bn6gmaGrs5V9Uk04-FFSPAqu-KDhzxukp98plgxlJxAb2Zq44meAwkwijrEyxHRUhsd1-4NqJy84yGlP3pPgfkOY/s320/015.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5484223421470115682" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />During...<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPe5niWJsP0mviuRY76NOD7gixhw731cK4Q2yGc143TYT22uEDBb84xtlSWJ4Oz3mEAXRtEO-tg24i6DV3rLa5wamEddL0LVx7wMxAoouDpM2sN7KLhSrPuVeBXZMvwRflWzoD0hdgwhM/s1600/016.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPe5niWJsP0mviuRY76NOD7gixhw731cK4Q2yGc143TYT22uEDBb84xtlSWJ4Oz3mEAXRtEO-tg24i6DV3rLa5wamEddL0LVx7wMxAoouDpM2sN7KLhSrPuVeBXZMvwRflWzoD0hdgwhM/s320/016.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5484224831948557442" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />After!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj21STz1-psFqXJ7lSEmbRYFsXmRpVOix1TVz-Cf6OF6XI7IMEQfvxxMOxxq-lWuePtvT8MUdrcDHljytDjZOz8J62DqiNL3PUQINXYwWBhPG-JBKzAIzVaKvi1xgX1mwNlyN55ZuaHI6w/s1600/017.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj21STz1-psFqXJ7lSEmbRYFsXmRpVOix1TVz-Cf6OF6XI7IMEQfvxxMOxxq-lWuePtvT8MUdrcDHljytDjZOz8J62DqiNL3PUQINXYwWBhPG-JBKzAIzVaKvi1xgX1mwNlyN55ZuaHI6w/s320/017.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5484225198570314930" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />School finally did end, and we are happy to stay up late. I'm not sure what sparked the interest, but suddenly she loves giraffes. Last Saturday, I decided that while Quinn took Alli and Mary to their soccer games, I would take Hazel and Jack to the zoo. Hazel was really excited, and even now four days later, she still is talking about the animals at the zoo. This was Jack's first trip to the zoo. He looked around a bit, took a little from his bottle, and slept.<br /><br />On the way downtown, I told Hazel I would get her some food to eat at the zoo since it was close to lunchtime. She was very concerned that I meant eat <span style="font-style: italic;">instead <span style="font-style: italic;"><span style="font-style: italic;"><span style="font-style: italic;"><span style="font-style: italic;"></span></span></span></span></span>of the zoo. That took some explaining, but she finally got it-and was still too excited to eat much. She was fascinated watching giraffes eat and told me over and over again that the giraffes ate snacks! Apparently that was funny to her. We had a fun time, and Hazel is ready to go back, which is good because she has two older sisters who were kind of bummed they missed out. Now I'm trying to use our next trip to the zoo as motivation to start potty-training again....Dittman Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07432293791122514837noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6282303693453507036.post-13494947184820269302010-04-24T14:10:00.000-07:002010-04-24T14:52:27.473-07:00Alli's 8!Alli just turned 8, and she has been so excited, because it's a big birthday! Unfortunately, her birthday fell on a Tuesday, so she had to go to school, but after school we went to the mall for dinner and to find a dress for her baptism. Since Quinn had to be out of town on her big day, Alli got a doll from her dad a few days early. I gave her the big 8 year-old present: her own set of scriptures. She was so excited and loved the fact that her name was engraved on them so they were just hers! Not to mention the fact that they c<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5YYhNfZQcOIgYQ3IQXFVS44SOidv5tEAGJ706GYWqfC29t6KNnsM2ANaMHAAWLxNNrPV-ZwGq3jQK78aJsKcNtilzbifMXBbWTavvyGajgXw69h8xksKbYSePzT9eSQDp8O4qP5hZy14/s1600/082.JPG"><img style="float: right; margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5YYhNfZQcOIgYQ3IQXFVS44SOidv5tEAGJ706GYWqfC29t6KNnsM2ANaMHAAWLxNNrPV-ZwGq3jQK78aJsKcNtilzbifMXBbWTavvyGajgXw69h8xksKbYSePzT9eSQDp8O4qP5hZy14/s320/082.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5463824076334661650" border="0" /></a>ame in a little pink carrier... She is quite the character-all she wanted for her birthday was Moon Sand and 10 packs of gum. She had specific instructions for her birthday cake, too: brownies with six cherries on top. While she was thrilled to get the Moon Sand (and I was not thrilled about buying it-it is a mess), she loves two presents more than anything: her Zhu-zhu pet and her charm bracelet, both from the grandmas. We went out to eat and stopped by Pojos for games.<br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwBVhYPjrrDRKPSzgC5xlyCbF_PQA-1YyQ0BsHsK-wgIsZpa7ls9SUHKCk91MhIn_NhKPz7IPO7euLYtgbk88hIsGBNiOXyqAE9KDPaPWsUUrEhao80PDC_hSlVP-ZvMGhigRqBhdIBa8/s1600/082.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwBVhYPjrrDRKPSzgC5xlyCbF_PQA-1YyQ0BsHsK-wgIsZpa7ls9SUHKCk91MhIn_NhKPz7IPO7euLYtgbk88hIsGBNiOXyqAE9KDPaPWsUUrEhao80PDC_hSlVP-ZvMGhigRqBhdIBa8/s200/082.JPG" border="0" width="200" height="150"></a></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWNMQF8KaYb9o2gKP3jZZv7bNp0HcSvo3eVSSWrsTDQZxxCSkFyzeg5GHqPA_Hzi3oe7xo0DFrKA-bE3VKCynEKVpVAF_lNpxeoNfExlN_o_4rr4BV2mUuPRFLoGbORSroYiUcR27UZGQ/s1600/076.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWNMQF8KaYb9o2gKP3jZZv7bNp0HcSvo3eVSSWrsTDQZxxCSkFyzeg5GHqPA_Hzi3oe7xo0DFrKA-bE3VKCynEKVpVAF_lNpxeoNfExlN_o_4rr4BV2mUuPRFLoGbORSroYiUcR27UZGQ/s320/076.JPG" border="0" width="320" height="240"></a><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2GCEv_XwXPo1CO_WJWFf7I9FG0BZv0U6eJpjEwXr7DyxF0sDHn0Un2LjUogwzyHXbAHXYBwPATqezp1DfqS5-cO-CPJ5HzcHGos00KmVtw8xCblGWCPHFblIGdCHxlKZLvdemqYNt-AE/s1600/037.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2GCEv_XwXPo1CO_WJWFf7I9FG0BZv0U6eJpjEwXr7DyxF0sDHn0Un2LjUogwzyHXbAHXYBwPATqezp1DfqS5-cO-CPJ5HzcHGos00KmVtw8xCblGWCPHFblIGdCHxlKZLvdemqYNt-AE/s320/037.JPG" border="0" width="320" height="240"></a></div>Mary loves to steal my camera and take pictures of herself. They are always a surprise to me as I'm uploading pictures! She loves to play on the Wii with her dad, and already acknowledges that I am hopeless at video games. She still loves her special bear, Cuddly Bear, who she sleeps with every night. Mary is becoming a real reader; it is fun to have her read books to me. She is lots of fun-she has a great sense of humor! She is hilarious to watch wrestle her dad, which she insists they do every day, and she lovingly refers to dinner as "slop". Last week, it all caught up with Jack, and he progressively got worse until Friday (3/12) I took him in to the doctor. His oxygen levels were fine, but he wasn't eating much so I was worried about dehydration. He was clearly sick, but checked out okay, doctor just said to keep an eye on him and push the fluids. That night he slept the whole night, which is not normal, and the next day he was white and listless. Worst of all, he wouldn't eat. At all. I had to feed him formula from a medicine dropper where it would take me an hour to get almost an ounce in him! By that evening, it was not improving so I talked to a nurse who recommended he go to the ER. It's a good thing I did because his oxygen levels were really low. They took all kinds of tests including blood tests and a spinal tap (which was awful!), and a chest x-ray. His white blood cell count was really high, indicating some kind of infection, and he had something showing up on his x-ray. <br />
He ended up spending four days in the hospital, testing positive for RSV and has been pumped full of antibiotics to treat pneumonia. It was the scariest thing I have ever been through, and I am really thankful that Jack is back home and recovering quickly! I have never been so happy to change diapers and love it that he is super hungry! The best part is that Jack was just starting to smile right before he got sick. He was not smiling at all for that week that he was really not well, but the last few days he has been all smiles! Unfortunately I have not been able to catch him in the act, so no smiling pictures yet.<br />
<br />
Here he is at the hospital. He did have a tube running across his face and into his nostrils, but I was too traumatized at the time to take pictures. These were taken after he was showing improvement and I knew he was going to be okay!<br />

<br />
We are so excited to finally have our little guy. We named him Jack Gary Dittman, after Quinn's dad Gary who passed away two days before Christmas. I love his birthday: 02/01/2010. Yeah, I'm probably the only weirdo out there who notices that kind of thing, but now that you know, you have to admit it's kinda cool. He was born at 9:01 a.m. weighing 7lbs. 4oz. and was 21 inches long. He has the most hair out of any of my kids, and I think he is just adorable! He is really mellow and has even been sleeping pretty well. I am just going to post a bunch of pictures because I know he's going to wake up soon so I can't figure out how I ever did slideshows before....oh, and before you shudder cruelly at any pictures of me, give me a break. I am not cute after I have a baby like some of you out there (Angie).<br />

It was a busy, crazy day so of course I did not get all the pictures I wanted to! What Hazel wanted more than anything was a doll with a binky (she is obsessed with her own). Grandma Cindy gave her a stroller to go with it, and that is what she did the rest of the day! She has taken that baby everywhere, she even sleeps with it. It's fun to see her love something so much, and it makes me hopeful that maybe a real baby in the house won't be such a traumatic adjustment for her!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieBEIEjcrO9u7vHo3pBYptt9TWtktooMd5t6vGYH_4gceVt8mY47mGYeFdn36Yo0wuR1EIcnEFultvLolE2bejg2-aOF1Vqgi7Gr4IMhoLMsIYQIkDF4Yc435pOg8qIOS2H1EyUkZhUnE/s1600-h/Trying+to+get+a+picture+of+Hazel+Nov.+2009+007.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieBEIEjcrO9u7vHo3pBYptt9TWtktooMd5t6vGYH_4gceVt8mY47mGYeFdn36Yo0wuR1EIcnEFultvLolE2bejg2-aOF1Vqgi7Gr4IMhoLMsIYQIkDF4Yc435pOg8qIOS2H1EyUkZhUnE/s320/Trying+to+get+a+picture+of+Hazel+Nov.+2009+007.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5410456896008792210" border="0"></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieBCvuFZp0x4S37N9kFT8L778_f_vZMg8okgmlJJiYBefEb_BWajvHPhdx_900H81aQ7q00sCrJirve2ehGjDO_HF0NqonZlCSFEGxwpRNG6RF7OpcmBjh-e5YzNE4mt_mXxw6ftaLeig/s1600-h/Trying+to+get+a+picture+of+Hazel+Nov.+2009+006.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieBCvuFZp0x4S37N9kFT8L778_f_vZMg8okgmlJJiYBefEb_BWajvHPhdx_900H81aQ7q00sCrJirve2ehGjDO_HF0NqonZlCSFEGxwpRNG6RF7OpcmBjh-e5YzNE4mt_mXxw6ftaLeig/s320/Trying+to+get+a+picture+of+Hazel+Nov.+2009+006.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5410456749973202242" border="0"></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhW8vV_H8xXzq-y5gzSvx2LImedt1OAuu696awVnTKXq0DuU6ZjDvu9v9IHrVsbQjnQGw5xFtZ2W52MlVFV8ZPD9MQP9XKUi5uhmQeIhGBc8RiWUe55zRJTfsAg-ZodZEAW5PUIzhtBH1w/s1600-h/Trying+to+get+a+picture+of+Hazel+Nov.+2009+005.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhW8vV_H8xXzq-y5gzSvx2LImedt1OAuu696awVnTKXq0DuU6ZjDvu9v9IHrVsbQjnQGw5xFtZ2W52MlVFV8ZPD9MQP9XKUi5uhmQeIhGBc8RiWUe55zRJTfsAg-ZodZEAW5PUIzhtBH1w/s320/Trying+to+get+a+picture+of+Hazel+Nov.+2009+005.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5410456544218973778" border="0"></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Hazel's personality has really come out over the last year. If you didn't know I was slightly OCD, well, now you know.
<br />
<br />Alli is in 2nd grade and is having a great time. Mary is in Kindergarten and is still getting over the fact that she has to go EVERY SINGLE DAY. I keep reminding her that if we were still in Arizona, she'd also be going full day!

And, every summer I question the necessity of a Dittman reunion when every single member of the Dittman crew lives within a five mile radius of each other, and gets together at least every other Sunday for dinner! Either way, the kids look forward to going because it is pretty up there and they get to ride in boats, swim, fish, and sleep all together with their cousins. Alli and Mary both begged to go fishing. Mary ended up having a little more perseverance and was rewarded with a fish! She helped Quinn gut it and even tasted some.<br /><br /><br /><br /> I took a couple of pictures while we were there, but my sister in-law took a bunch and so I am making what she gave me a slideshow. I feel that I do need to explain a few of the pictures. You see, it wouldn't be a Dittman function without some competition. Thankfully the ladies' swim relay was not documented, but we did get a "friendly" race on film between Quinn and his oldest brother Eric. There wasn't a definite winner because the whole thing started looking like the chariot scene from Ben Hur. In the end, they each claim to be the fastest, so I guess everybody wins.<br /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://picasaweb.google.com/s/c/bin/slideshow.swf" width="600" height="400" flashvars="host=picasaweb.google.com&hl=en_US&feat=flashalbum&RGB=0x000000&feed=http%3A%2F%2Fpicasaweb.google.com%2Fdata%2Ffeed%2Fapi%2Fuser%2Fnojumpers%2Falbumid%2F5403698483945015457%3Falt%3Drss%26kind%3Dphoto%26hl%3Den_US" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"></embed>Dittman Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07432293791122514837noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6282303693453507036.post-84957421602527212322009-11-13T12:54:00.001-08:002009-11-13T12:54:27.136-08:00Catching up....Oregon Coast August 2009<embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://picasaweb.google.com/s/c/bin/slideshow.swf" width="288" height="192" flashvars="host=picasaweb.google.com&hl=en_US&feat=flashalbum&RGB=0x000000&feed=http%3A%2F%2Fpicasaweb.google.com%2Fdata%2Ffeed%2Fapi%2Fuser%2Fnojumpers%2Falbumid%2F5403691099409102929%3Fkind%3Dphoto%26alt%3Drss" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"></embed>Dittman Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07432293791122514837noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6282303693453507036.post-87922449437182961402009-07-25T11:33:00.001-07:002009-07-25T11:33:31.845-07:00<p width="100%" align="center"><embed pluginspage="http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer" src="http://www.yourminis.com/Dir/GetContainer.api?uri=yourminis/freewebs/mini:BabyCountdown" wmode="transparent" width="310" height="260" FlashVars="mininame=BabyCountdown&myyear=2010&mydate=9&mymonth=1&promo=0&height=250&width=300&xheight=260&xwidth=310&view=minimal&uri=yourminis%2Ffreewebs%2Fmini%3ABabyCountdown&wapi=0&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowScriptAccess="always"></embed><br /><a title="For more widgets please visit www.yourminis.com" href="http://www.yourminis.com/index_minis.aspx?embeddedmini" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="For more widgets please visit www.yourminis.com" src="http://www.yourminis.com/images/poweredby.png"/></a></p>Dittman Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07432293791122514837noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6282303693453507036.post-29545846378808294932009-07-25T11:32:00.001-07:002009-07-25T11:34:38.663-07:00Dittman Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07432293791122514837noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6282303693453507036.post-77446670153598491312009-07-18T20:58:00.000-07:002009-07-18T21:13:59.020-07:00More SummerOkay, Maria, you were wondering when our BBQ at Manwaring's was coming....here you go. We've had unusually mild weather (this week it's supposed to reach 100 for the FIRST TIME THIS SUMMER), and we've just been busy doing summer things, I guess.
